APPARATUS MODULE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18561052 titled 'APPARATUS MODULE

The patent application describes an apparatus module for vehicles that includes a rigid member placed in the in-roof space between the roof panel and an interior member, along with an apparatus fixed to the rigid member. The rigid member has a heat receiving part that absorbs heat from the apparatus and a heat radiation part that disperses the heat. These parts are positioned apart from each other on the surface of the rigid member, with heat transferred between them through a heat transfer path within the rigid member.

Original Abstract Submitted

An apparatus module includes: a rigid member disposed in an in-roof space between a roof panel and an interior member in a vehicle to be fixed to the roof panel; and an apparatus fixed to the rigid member. The rigid member is provided with a heat receiving part having contact with the apparatus to receive heat from the apparatus and a heat radiation part radiating heat received by the heat receiving part, the heat receiving part and the heat radiation part are provided in positions away from each other in a surface of the rigid member, and heat is transferred from the heat receiving part to the heat radiation part via a heat transfer path connecting the heat receiving part and the heat radiation part in the rigid member.
