METHOD FOR APPLYING TWO DIFFERENT SPRAYS TO AGRICULTURAL LAND - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18554772 titled 'METHOD FOR APPLYING TWO DIFFERENT SPRAYS TO AGRICULTURAL LAND

Simplified Explanation

This patent application describes a method for applying two different sprays to agricultural land using a specialized spraying device with separate spray circuits.

Key Features and Innovation

  • Utilizes a first spray circuit with a tank and nozzle unit for one type of spray.
  • Incorporates a second spray circuit that is separate and has its own tank and nozzle unit for a different type of spray.
  • Allows for the application of either spray to specific field portions based on the presence of defined weeds.

Potential Applications

This technology can be used in agriculture for targeted spraying of different types of chemicals or fertilizers based on specific needs in different areas of the land.

Problems Solved

  • Enables more precise and efficient application of sprays.
  • Reduces waste by only applying necessary treatments to specific areas.
  • Helps control weed growth effectively.

Benefits

  • Increased effectiveness in weed control.
  • Reduced chemical usage and environmental impact.
  • Improved crop health and yield.

Commercial Applications

  • Agricultural spraying equipment manufacturers.
  • Farming and agricultural companies.
  • Landscaping and gardening businesses.

Prior Art

Prior art related to this technology may include patents or research on precision spraying systems in agriculture and horticulture.

Using this method can reduce chemical usage, minimize environmental impact, and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Original Abstract Submitted

A method for applying two different sprays to agricultural land using an agricultural spraying device that includes a first spray circuit having a first spray tank and a first spray nozzle unit, and includes a second spray circuit, which is fluidically separate from the first spray circuit and has a second spray tank and a second spray nozzle unit. The method includes providing a first spray in the first spray tank. The method also includes providing a second spray in the second spray tank. The method also includes applying either the first spray using the first spray nozzle unit or the second spray using the second spray nozzle unit to field portions of the agricultural land depending on whether the at least one defined weed is present in each field portion.
