Prior Art: Readers can start their search for prior art related to this technology by exploring patents in the field of liquid crystal display devices, black matrix design, and color pattern optimization.

Frequently Updated Research: Researchers are constantly exploring new ways to improve display technology, including advancements in liquid crystal materials, black matrix design, and color reproduction techniques.

Questions about Display Technology: 1. How does the seal member on the bezel contribute to the overall performance of the display device? The seal member helps protect the liquid crystal layer and improve the durability of the device by preventing dust and moisture from entering the display area.

2. What are the potential challenges in implementing the dummy color pattern in display devices? One potential challenge could be ensuring that the dummy color pattern does not interfere with the overall color accuracy and brightness of the display.

Original Abstract Submitted

A display device including a liquid crystal layer is provided. The liquid crystal layer may be disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate. The liquid crystal layer overlapping with a display area may be surrounded by a seal member disposed on a bezel, which is disposed outside the display area. A black matrix between the liquid crystal layer and the second substrate may include first openings in the display area and at least one second opening disposed between the display area and the seal member. A dummy color pattern between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer may include a region overlapping with the second opening of the black matrix and a region disposed between the display area and the second opening.
