There is provided a driving tool including: a main body portion; and a magazine that includes an accommodation portion configured to accommodate a fastener, and a cap portion that opens and closes the accommodation portion, and the magazine being movable in a first direction approaching the main body portion and a second direction separated from the main body portion. The main body portion includes an engaging portion engageable with the cap portion in a state where the cap portion is closed. The cap portion is engaged with the engaging portion by the magazine moving in the first direction, and is disengaged from the engaging portion by the magazine moving in the second direction from a state of being engaged with the engaging portion.
