Support Rail Bracket - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18367754 titled 'Support Rail Bracket

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a support rail bracket with a deformable portion that allows movement of the support rail in one direction while resisting movement in the opposite direction.

  • The support rail bracket includes a base for stability.
  • A securement portion is attached to the base to hold the end section of a support rail.
  • A deformable portion connects the base and securement portion.
  • The deformable portion resists movement in one direction and allows movement in the opposite direction.

Potential Applications

This technology could be used in various industries such as construction, transportation, and manufacturing where support rails are commonly used.

Problems Solved

This innovation solves the problem of securely holding support rails in place while allowing for controlled movement when needed.

Benefits

The benefits of this technology include increased safety, stability, and flexibility in the use of support rails.

Potential Commercial Applications

  • "Innovative Support Rail Bracket Technology for Enhanced Stability and Flexibility

Original Abstract Submitted

A support rail bracket includes a base. A securement portion is coupled to the base and configured to secure an end section of a support rail, which is graspable for support. A deformable portion is coupled to and extends between the base and the securement portion. The deformable portion is configured to resist movement of the end section in a first direction and deform to allow movement of the end section in a second direction that is approximately opposite the first direction.
