DETECTION CIRCUIT AND POWER SUPPLY CONTROL DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18247149 titled 'DETECTION CIRCUIT AND POWER SUPPLY CONTROL DEVICE

The abstract of the patent application describes a second detection circuit that outputs a current to a circuit resistor based on the voltage between an input terminal of a second FET and ground of a second drive circuit. The circuit resistor produces a voltage between its two ends, with the voltage between the ground of the second drive circuit and a downstream end of the resistor being higher than 0V.

  • The second detection circuit outputs a current to a circuit resistor based on the voltage between an input terminal of a second FET and ground of a second drive circuit.
  • The circuit resistor generates a voltage between its two ends.
  • The voltage between the ground of the second drive circuit and a downstream end of the resistor is higher than 0V.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be used in electronic devices that require precise current output control. - It can be applied in power management systems to regulate current flow efficiently.

Problems Solved: - Provides accurate current output based on the circuit voltage. - Ensures proper switching of the second FET by the second drive circuit.

Commercial Applications: Title: Advanced Current Output Control Technology for Electronic Devices This technology can be utilized in the development of high-performance electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops, and power banks. It can also find applications in industrial automation systems for precise current regulation.

Questions about the Technology: 1. How does the second detection circuit determine the current output to the circuit resistor? 2. What are the advantages of using a second FET in this circuit design?

Original Abstract Submitted

In a second detection circuit, a current output device outputs, to a circuit resistor, a current corresponding to a circuit voltage between an input terminal of a second FET to which a current is input and ground of a second drive circuit that switches the second FET ON or OFF. The second detection circuit outputs a voltage between two ends of the circuit resistor. A voltage between the ground of the second drive circuit and a downstream end of the circuit resistor is higher than 0 V.
