ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CHANGING SYNCHRONIZED CONTENTS, AND METHOD THEREFOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240221790 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CHANGING SYNCHRONIZED CONTENTS, AND METHOD THEREFOR

The abstract describes an electronic device with a display, memory, and processors that can change content based on shooting input, synchronize content based on metadata, and segment content based on time sections.

  • Electronic device with display, memory, and processors
  • Ability to change content based on shooting input
  • Synchronize content based on metadata
  • Segment content based on time sections
  • First state displays a visual object for segmenting all synchronized content
  • Second state displays a screen for dividing individual content

Potential Applications: - Video editing software - Multimedia presentation tools - Collaborative content creation platforms

Problems Solved: - Efficient content segmentation - Improved synchronization of multimedia content

Benefits: - Enhanced user experience - Streamlined content editing process

Commercial Applications: Title: "Advanced Multimedia Editing Tool for Content Creators" This technology can be utilized in video editing software, multimedia presentation tools, and collaborative content creation platforms, catering to professionals in the media and entertainment industry.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the electronic device identify synchronized content based on metadata? - The electronic device uses metadata embedded in the content to determine synchronization. 2. What are the advantages of segmenting content based on time sections? - Segmenting content based on time sections allows for precise editing and organization of multimedia content.

Original Abstract Submitted

an electronic device is provided. the electronic device includes a display, memory storing one or more computer programs, and one or more processors communicatively coupled to the display and the memory. the one or more computer programs include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the electronic device to receive a request for changing content acquired based on a shooting input, in response to receiving the request, identify whether the contents are synchronized based on metadata of the content while in a first state of having identified that the contents are synchronized, display a first screen comprising a visual object for receiving a first time section to be used to segment all of the synchronized contents in the display, and while in a second state different from the first state, display a second screen for receiving a second time section to be used to divide any one of the contents in the display, independently to the visual object.
