a display device is provided. the display device has a display area and a non-display area adjacent thereto, an insulating protective layer is provided in the non-display area, and a first gap is provided between the insulating protective layer and the display area. the display device includes: a display substrate including a base substrate and a display structure layer formed thereon; a first conductive line on the display substrate, an orthographic projection of the first gap on the base substrate being coincided with or being within an orthographic projection of the first conductive line on the base substrate, and an extension direction of the first conductive line being the same as an extension direction of the first gap; and a first insulating layer on the first conductive line and provided with a via hole, the via hole being connected to the first conductive line to expose the same.
