DISPERSION DEVICE AND ACCUMULATION DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240209553 titled 'DISPERSION DEVICE AND ACCUMULATION DEVICE

The patent application describes a dispersion device that includes a supply section, a dispersion section, and a coupling section.

  • The supply section has a supply pipe for supplying a material containing fibers together with air, and a chamber with swirl flow forming portions.
  • The dispersion section has a casing with a discharge port for discharging and dispersing the material into air.
  • The coupling section has a communication port through which the swirl flow forming portions communicate with the casing.

Potential Applications:

  • This dispersion device can be used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food processing, and chemical manufacturing.
  • It can be utilized in the production of aerosols, powders, and other dispersed materials.

Problems Solved:

  • Efficiently disperses materials containing fibers in air.
  • Provides controlled and uniform dispersion of materials.

Benefits:

  • Increases productivity by dispersing materials effectively.
  • Reduces waste and ensures consistent quality of dispersed materials.

Commercial Applications:

  • "Dispersion Device for Efficient Material Dispersal in Various Industries"

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the dispersion device control the flow of materials containing fibers? 2. What are the key advantages of using a swirl flow in the dispersion process?

Frequently Updated Research: There may be ongoing research on optimizing the dispersion process for different types of materials and industries.

Original Abstract Submitted

there is provided a dispersion device including: a supply section having a supply pipe for supplying a material containing fibers together with air, and a chamber that has a first swirl flow forming portion forming a first swirl flow of the air containing the material and a second swirl flow forming portion communicating with the first swirl flow forming portion and forming a second swirl flow in a direction opposite to the first swirl flow of the air containing the material and that is coupled to the supply pipe; a dispersion section that has a casing formed with a discharge port for discharging the material, stirs the material in the casing, and discharges and disperses the material from the discharge port into air; and a coupling section having a communication port through which the first swirl flow forming portion and the second swirl flow forming portion communicate with the casing.
