discussed is a foldable display device. the foldable display device includes a display panel including a folding area and non-folding areas located on opposite sides of the folding area, a first support substrate disposed under the display panel to support the display panel and including a plurality of opening patterns corresponding to the folding area, a second support substrate disposed between the display panel and the first support substrate and an adhesive layer corresponding to the non-folding areas and disposed between the first support substrate and the second support substrate. at least one of the first support substrate and the second support substrate includes a protrusion located adjacent to the folding area and protruding therefrom.
