Original Abstract Submitted

Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine to change a power mode of the UE to a new power mode. The UE may change the power mode of the UE to the new power mode, wherein if the new power mode comprises a power saving mode, the UE measures positioning reference signals (PRSs) from one transmission/reception point (TRP), and wherein if the new power mode is a normal power mode, the UE measures PRSs from two or more TRPs.
