COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18591263 titled 'COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
The abstract of this patent application describes a method and apparatus for communication between nodes without establishing a connection relationship. The method involves sending messages on broadcast frequency hopping channels and indicating transmission opportunities.
- Nodes can communicate without establishing a connection relationship
- Messages are sent on broadcast frequency hopping channels
- Transmission opportunities are indicated in the messages
- Second node can learn about resources in multiple transmission opportunities
- Operations in different transmission opportunities are independent of each other
Potential Applications: - IoT devices communication - Wireless sensor networks - Industrial automation
Problems Solved: - Efficient communication without connection setup - Optimized use of transmission opportunities
Benefits: - Increased flexibility in communication - Reduced overhead in establishing connections - Enhanced scalability in network communication
Commercial Applications: Title: "Efficient Wireless Communication Method for IoT Devices" This technology can be used in various industries such as smart homes, agriculture, and healthcare for seamless communication between devices.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve communication efficiency in IoT networks? - This method eliminates the need for establishing connection relationships, allowing nodes to communicate more efficiently. 2. What are the advantages of using broadcast frequency hopping channels in wireless communication? - Broadcast frequency hopping channels enable secure and reliable communication while minimizing interference.
Original Abstract Submitted
This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A first node sends a first message on at least one broadcast frequency hopping channel, where the first message indicates a first resource on a first general frequency hopping channel; and sends a second message on the first resource, where the second message indicates a transmission opportunity group or a transmission opportunity group set. According to the method, the first node may communicate with another node (for example, a second node) without establishing a connection relationship. In addition, when the transmission opportunity group or the transmission opportunity group set includes two or more transmission opportunities, because the second node may learn of a resource of each transmission opportunity based on the second message, operations of receiving a message by the second node in all the transmission opportunities are independent of each other.
