WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18594759 titled 'WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

The method described in the abstract involves receiving information from a terminal device on a first carrier and sending information back to the terminal device. The first information helps determine channel information on the first carrier, such as modulation and coding schemes or spectrum efficiency. The second information is used for scheduling a transmission resource on a second carrier, indicating channel information on the second carrier, including modulation and coding schemes or spectrum efficiency. The channel information on the second carrier is determined based on the channel information on the first carrier.

  • The method involves receiving and sending information between terminal devices and carriers.
  • The first carrier's channel information includes modulation and coding schemes or spectrum efficiency.
  • The second carrier's channel information is used for scheduling transmission resources and includes modulation and coding schemes or spectrum efficiency.
  • The channel information on the second carrier is determined based on the channel information on the first carrier.
    • Potential Applications:**

This technology can be applied in wireless communication systems to optimize resource allocation and enhance data transmission efficiency.

    • Problems Solved:**

This technology addresses the need for efficient scheduling and resource allocation in wireless communication networks.

    • Benefits:**

The benefits of this technology include improved data transmission efficiency, optimized resource allocation, and enhanced overall network performance.

    • Commercial Applications:**

This technology could be utilized in telecommunications companies to improve network performance and enhance user experience, leading to increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    • Questions about the Technology:**

1. How does this technology improve resource allocation in wireless communication systems? 2. What are the key factors influencing the determination of channel information on different carriers in this method?

Original Abstract Submitted

A method includes receiving first information from a terminal device on a first carrier, and sending second information to the terminal device. The first information is useable for determining channel information on the first carrier. The channel information on the first carrier includes a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) on the first carrier or a spectrum efficiency on the first carrier. The second information is useable for scheduling a transmission resource on a second carrier. The second information is useable to indicate channel information on the second carrier. The channel information on the second carrier includes at least one of an MCS on the second carrier or a spectrum efficiency on the second carrier. The channel information on the second carrier is determined based on the channel information on the first carrier.
