Original Abstract Submitted

An apparatus for processing at least one immersive audio signal, the immersive audio signal including at least one audio signal associated with a sound source, at least one sound source parameter defining the sound source and at least one scene parameter for acoustically defining a scene within which the sound source is located, the apparatus including circuitry configured to: obtain the audio signal associated with the sound source; obtain the sound source parameter defining the sound source; obtain the scene parameter for acoustically defining the scene within which the sound source is located; determine information, for the sound source, about a propagation delay; and process the audio signal based on the information, wherein the circuitry configured to process the audio signal is configured to: determine at least one early reverberation parameter; and render the audio signal based on the early reverberation parameter.
