THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT

Abstract: a thermoelectric conversion element includes a substrate, a thermocouple, and a thermal insulator. the thermocouple includes a thin-film-shaped thermoelectric member and an electroconductive member. the thermoelectric member and the electroconductive member are arranged along a principal surface of a substrate. the electroconductive member contains at least one selected from the group consisting of metal and a metal compound. the thermal insulator is in contact with the electroconductive member. a thermal conductivity of the thermal insulator is lower than a thermal conductivity of the electroconductive member.
