Abstract: the present invention provides a cosmetic capable of achieving both an effect brought about by nicotinic acid or a derivative thereof and a feeling of use. the cosmetic according to the present invention is a cosmetic containing a powder of nicotinic acid or a derivative thereof having an average particle diameter of 40 �m or less, and is a cosmetic containing a powder of nicotinic acid or a derivative whose content is 3% by mass or more based on the total mass of the cosmetic.
