METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18138263 titled 'METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Simplified Explanation
- The patent application describes a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving signals in a wireless communication system. - The method involves configuring a user equipment (UE) with a certain number of resources based on a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration. - The base station then configures a different number of resources, which are actually available to the UE, in the downlink control information (DCI). - The UE can select a subset of the available resources to receive data. - This allows for flexible allocation of resources to multiple UEs without delay caused by data jitter.
Original Abstract Submitted
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving a signal in a wireless communication system. When a user equipment (UE) is configured with M resources within one periodicity based on a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration, a base station may configure N resources actually available to the UE in downlink control information (DCI). The UE may select some of the N resources to receive data. Accordingly, resources may be flexibly allocated to a plurality of UEs without delay due to data jitter.
