DISPLACEMENT OUTPUT DEVICE, DISPLACEMENT OUTPUT METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18282122 titled 'DISPLACEMENT OUTPUT DEVICE, DISPLACEMENT OUTPUT METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Simplified Explanation
The present invention is a displacement output device that utilizes synthetic aperture radar to acquire ground surface displacement data and estimate displacements at different points. The device then clips the data within a preset region and outputs the relevant information.
- Acquiring ground surface displacement data from synthetic aperture radar
- Estimating displacements at different points
- Clipping data within a preset region
- Outputting the relevant displacement information
Potential Applications
This technology can be applied in various fields such as geology, civil engineering, and environmental monitoring to track ground surface movements and potential hazards.
Problems Solved
This technology helps in accurately measuring ground surface displacements and identifying potential risks such as landslides, subsidence, or structural deformations.
Benefits
The device provides precise and real-time data on ground surface displacements, allowing for timely interventions and risk mitigation strategies.
Potential Commercial Applications
Potential commercial applications include monitoring infrastructure stability, assessing geological hazards, and ensuring the safety of buildings and structures.
Possible Prior Art
Prior art may include similar displacement monitoring devices using different technologies such as GPS or satellite imaging.

The abstract does not provide details on the data processing and storage capabilities of the device. It would be interesting to know how the device manages and stores the acquired displacement data.
What is the accuracy and reliability of the estimated displacements?
The abstract does not mention the accuracy or reliability of the estimated displacements. Understanding the precision of the device's estimations would be crucial for its practical applications.
Original Abstract Submitted
A displacement output device according to the present invention includes: a memory; and at least one processor coupled to the memory. The processor performing operations. The operations include: acquiring a first ground surface displacement at a first point from a synthetic aperture radar; estimating a second ground surface displacement at a second point different from the first point using the acquired first ground surface displacement; clipping at least one of the first ground surface displacement and the second ground surface displacement included in a preset first region from the first ground surface displacement and the second ground surface displacement; and outputting at least one of the first ground surface displacement and the second ground surface displacement included in the first region.
