Abstract: a kit and a method for nicotine cessation are disclosed. the kit includes a plurality of vessels each holding a substance for consumption by a user. the plurality of vessels includes: a first vessel with the substance having a highest nicotine content; a last vessel with the substance having a lowest nicotine content; a second vessel with the substance having a second nicotine content lower than the highest nicotine content; and at least a third vessel with the substance having a third nicotine content higher than the lowest nicotine content and lower than the second nicotine content. nicotine content decreases gradually from the highest nicotine content to the lowest nicotine content and the substance held by the plurality of vessels is configured to be consumed in order from the first vessel to the last vessel.
