methods and system for managing temporary slice deployment in 3gpp. embodiments herein disclose systems and methods for managing temporary slice deployment in 3gpp. the operator or slice owner can commission the network functions (nfs) with validity criteria of temporary network slices. on expiry of the validity criteria, the nfs will decommission the temporary network slice. when the ue requests for these temporary network slices, the access and mobility management function (amf) provides the ue with the temporary network slices along with its validity criteria. before expiry of the validity criteria, the ue releases an ongoing protocol data unit (pdu) session, and then removes the network slice on expiry of the validity criteria. the ue will only be able to access services from the temporary network slice if the ue is located in the temporary network slice's service area.
