SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEPOSITING PHOSPHOR CONTAINING INK - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18502765 titled 'SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEPOSITING PHOSPHOR CONTAINING INK
Simplified Explanation
The patent application discloses phosphor materials and devices containing such phosphor materials. The ink composition includes a Mn4+ doped phosphor of formula A[MF]:Mn (I) and at least one rare earth containing Garnet phosphor, with the rare earth Garnet phosphor present in the phosphor material in an amount of at least about 80 wt% based on the weight of the phosphor material.
- Mn4+ doped phosphor of formula A[MF]:Mn (I) is a key component of the ink composition.
- The ink composition also includes at least one rare earth containing Garnet phosphor with a specific particle size range.
- A, M, x, and y in the formula represent specific elements and values.
Potential Applications
This technology could be used in:
- LED lighting
- Display screens
- Medical imaging devices
Problems Solved
