An example data processing system includes a plurality of nodes and a controller that are connected by using an interconnection device, and the plurality of nodes includes a first node and a second node. When the second node requests to access the data processing system, the controller is configured to allocate a second node identifier to the second node. A global physical address of the second node in the data processing system is a node identifier of the second node and a physical address of the second node. The controller is further configured to send the global physical address of the second node to the first node.
