an image processing apparatus according to the present invention includes a processor, and a memory storing a program which, when executed by the processor, causes the image processing apparatus to perform acquisition processing to acquire color information of at least one of a region in which a two-dimensional code is to be disposed and a peripheral region of the region on an image, and perform drawing processing to draw the two-dimensional code on the image, wherein in the drawing processing, respective colors of a foreground and a background of the two-dimensional code are determined based on the color information.
