This disclosure provides a converter and an electronic device that incorporates the converter. The converter includes: an input terminal, a first inverter circuit, a first transformer, a first rectifier circuit, and an output terminal. The first transformer includes a first primary-side winding and a first secondary-side winding. The input terminal is connected to a first terminal of the first inverter circuit, a second terminal of the first inverter circuit is connected to the first primary-side winding, and the first rectifier circuit is connected between the first secondary-side winding and the output terminal. A third terminal of the first inverter circuit is connected to the output terminal; or a third terminal of the first inverter circuit is connected to the first secondary-side winding. In this disclosure, a loss of the converter can be reduced.
