a wireless communication system includes wireless communication devices capable of performing wireless communication with a wireless communication terminal and each disposed at a different position. the wireless communication devices include: a storage device configured to hold radio wave intensity data corresponding to position information of each of the wireless communication devices; and a processing device configured to, when starting communication with the wireless communication terminal, calculate a region in which interference of radio waves is able to occur based on the radio wave intensity data, calculate a usage status of a communication resource by the wireless communication devices present in the region based on a communication status of the wireless communication devices present in the region among the wireless communication devices, and adjust a communication parameter that defines a transmission amount of data in communication with the wireless communication terminal based on a calculation result of the usage status.
