an image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus, according to the present disclosure, comprises the steps of: selecting, from among residual coefficients of a current block, specific residual coefficients for sine prediction in a scan order; predicting sines for the specific residual coefficients; deriving residual samples of the current block on the basis of the predicted sines; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of the residual samples, wherein the scan order is derived on the basis of an intra prediction mode which has been applied to the current block.
