this application discloses a beam switching delay determining method and apparatus, and a terminal. the beam switching delay determining method in embodiments of this application includes: receiving, by a terminal, indication information, where the indication information is used to indicate target beams, the target beams include a first beam and a second beam, and the first beam and the second beam are associated with two different cells; and determining, by the terminal, a switching delay of the target beam according to a first preset rule in a case that the indication information is received.
