Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide solutions that address technological challenges related to 3D content. These solutions include a computer-implemented method for decoding three-dimensional (3D) content comprising connectivity information associated with the 3D content; extracting a block of the connectivity information from a connectivity information frame extracted from the coded bitstream; reconstructing a set of faces based on the block of the connectivity information; and reconstructing the 3D content based on the reconstructed set of faces.
