An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus for an examiner to perform an ultrasound examination on a breast of a subject includes: a voice acquisition sensor () that acquires a voice during the ultrasound examination; a voice analysis unit () that estimates an examination position of the subject by analyzing the voice acquired by the voice acquisition sensor (); and a body mark setting unit () that selects and sets one of left and right breast body marks based on the examination position of the subject estimated by the voice analysis unit ().
