SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRONIC TICKET VALIDATION WITH NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS IN A BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240378605 titled 'SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTRONIC TICKET VALIDATION WITH NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS IN A BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK

The abstract describes a method for electronic ticket validation using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in a blockchain network. The method involves receiving a wallet address, querying blockchain data, determining NFT identifier matches, retrieving digital images, selecting animations, generating a combination of animation and image, and transmitting the combination for display on ticketholder and validation devices.

  • Receiving a wallet address in the blockchain network
  • Querying blockchain data to identify a NFT identifier in the wallet
  • Determining if the NFT identifier matches pre-approved identifiers
  • Retrieving a digital image corresponding to the matched identifier
  • Randomly selecting an animation from a repository
  • Generating a combination of animation and image
  • Transmitting the combination for display on ticketholder and validation devices

Potential Applications: - Secure ticket validation for events - Digital asset verification - Authenticity verification for collectibles

Problems Solved: - Ensures secure and tamper-proof ticket validation - Provides a unique and visually engaging validation process - Prevents counterfeit tickets

Benefits: - Enhanced security for ticketing systems - Improved user experience with visually appealing validation process - Efficient and reliable ticket verification

Commercial Applications: Title: "Secure Electronic Ticket Validation System with NFTs" This technology can be used in various industries such as event management, entertainment, and digital asset verification. It offers a secure and visually engaging way to validate tickets and assets, enhancing user experience and preventing fraud.

Questions about Electronic Ticket Validation with NFTs: 1. How does the method ensure the security of ticket validation? - The method ensures security by using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in a blockchain network to uniquely identify and verify tickets. 2. What are the potential applications of this technology beyond ticket validation? - This technology can be applied to digital asset verification, authenticity verification for collectibles, and other industries requiring secure validation processes.

Original Abstract Submitted

embodiments of a method for electronic ticket validation with non-fungible tokens (nfts) in a blockchain network are disclosed. the method is executed by a processor of a server in a cloud network and comprises: receiving a wallet address of a wallet in the blockchain network; querying blockchain data based on the wallet address to identify a nft identifier in the wallet; determining whether the nft identifier matches at least one in a list of pre-approved nft identifiers; retrieving a digital image corresponding to the nft identifier determined to match at least one identifier in the list of pre-approved nft identifiers; randomly selecting an animation from a repository of mutually distinct animations; generating a combination of the selected animation and the retrieved digital image; and transmitting the combination to a ticketholder-device and to a validation-device for synchronous display by the ticketholder-device and the validation-device.
