METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GROUPING PLURALITY OF DEVICES - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240355069 titled 'METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GROUPING PLURALITY OF DEVICES
The present disclosure introduces a method for grouping multiple augmented reality (AR) glasses using a user terminal in a wireless communication system.
- The first user terminal connects wirelessly to the first pair of AR glasses and initiates an application to connect to a second pair of AR glasses.
- The first user terminal identifies that the second pair of AR glasses is within a predetermined distance and angle range.
- Connection information is sent from the first user terminal to the second pair of AR glasses.
- The user terminal establishes a wireless connection with the second pair of AR glasses and receives information about them.
- The application displays that the first pair of AR glasses, the second pair of AR glasses, and the first user terminal are grouped together.
- Potential Applications:**
- Collaborative AR experiences - Team-based AR gaming - Remote assistance and training using AR technology
- Problems Solved:**
- Facilitates seamless communication and collaboration between multiple AR glasses users - Enhances user experience by enabling group interactions in AR environments
- Benefits:**
- Improved teamwork and coordination in AR applications - Enhanced user engagement and immersion in group AR activities - Streamlined sharing of information and content among multiple AR glasses users
- Commercial Applications:**
Title: Enhanced Group AR Experiences for Team Collaboration This technology can be utilized in industries such as education, entertainment, remote assistance, and gaming to enhance group AR experiences and facilitate collaborative interactions among users wearing AR glasses.
- Questions about Grouping AR Glasses:**
1. How does the method ensure secure and reliable wireless connections between multiple AR glasses and the user terminal? 2. What are the potential challenges in implementing this method on a large scale in real-world scenarios?
Original Abstract Submitted
the present disclosure proposes a method of a user terminal for grouping a plurality of augmented reality (ar) glasses in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps in which: a first user terminal is wirelessly connected to first ar glasses, and the first user terminal executes an application for connection to second ar glasses; the first user terminal recognizes that the second ar glasses are located within a preconfigured distance and angle range; connection information for connection to the first user terminal is transmitted to the second ar glasses; the user terminal is wirelessly connected to the second ar glasses and receives information on the second ar glasses; and the application displays that the first ar glasses, the second ar glasses, and the first user terminal are grouped.
