MULTI-FACTOR VERIFICATION SYSTEM, MULTI-FACTOR VERIFICATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18294334 titled 'MULTI-FACTOR VERIFICATION SYSTEM, MULTI-FACTOR VERIFICATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

The abstract describes a multi-factor collating system in a cyber-physical system that connects a physical space and a cyber space through a network. The system includes a computer with memory and a processor that determines whether to project an object onto the cyber space based on positional information obtained by positioning means in the physical space, as well as positional information obtained by other means.

  • The system integrates physical and cyber spaces through a network.
  • A computer with memory and a processor is used to make decisions about projecting objects onto the cyber space.
  • Positional information from positioning means in the physical space and other sources is used to determine object projection.

Potential Applications: - Augmented reality applications - Virtual design and prototyping - Remote collaboration and communication tools

Problems Solved: - Integration of physical and cyber spaces - Efficient object projection in a cyber-physical system

Benefits: - Enhanced user experience - Improved communication and collaboration - Streamlined design processes

Commercial Applications: Title: "Enhanced Virtual Collaboration System" This technology can be used in industries such as architecture, engineering, and entertainment for virtual design, remote collaboration, and interactive presentations. It can also be applied in education for virtual learning environments.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the system handle conflicting positional information from different sources? The system uses algorithms to prioritize and reconcile conflicting positional information for accurate object projection.

2. Can the system be integrated with existing virtual reality platforms? Yes, the system can be integrated with various virtual reality platforms to enhance user experience and functionality.

Original Abstract Submitted

A multi-factor collating system is in a cyber-physical system in which a physical space and a cyber space are connected by a network. The multi-factor collating system includes a computer including a memory and a processor configured to determine whether to project an object onto the cyber space, based on first positional information that is positional information of the object obtained by positioning means of the object in the physical space, and second positional information that is positional information of the object obtained by means other than the positioning means; and project the object to the cyber space, in response to a determination that the object is to be projected to the cyber space.
