ROUTING FEEDBACK DATA BLOCKS VIA A PRIORITIZED FEEDBACK COMMUNICATION MECHANISM BASED ON POWER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18745356 titled 'ROUTING FEEDBACK DATA BLOCKS VIA A PRIORITIZED FEEDBACK COMMUNICATION MECHANISM BASED ON POWER

The abstract of the patent application describes a database system node that can receive data blocks from source nodes via relay nodes and generate feedback data blocks to be sent back to the source nodes. Feedback relay node selection data is used to choose nodes in the system to facilitate routing of the feedback data blocks based on a prioritized feedback communication mechanism and power utilization. The feedback data blocks are then sent to the selected nodes for routing back to the source nodes using the prioritized feedback communication mechanism.

  • Database system node receives data blocks from source nodes via relay nodes
  • Generates feedback data blocks to be sent back to the source nodes
  • Feedback relay node selection data chooses nodes for routing feedback data blocks
  • Prioritized feedback communication mechanism and power utilization are considered in selecting nodes
  • Feedback data blocks are sent to selected nodes for routing back to source nodes

Original Abstract Submitted

A node of a database system is operable to receive a plurality of data blocks from a set of source nodes via a set of relay nodes. At least one feedback data block to be sent to at least one of the set of source nodes is generated. Feedback relay node selection data selecting at least one of a plurality of nodes in the database system for facilitating routing of the at least one feedback data block from the node to the at least one of the set of source nodes based on a prioritized feedback communication mechanism and power utilization. The at least one feedback data block is sent to the at least one of the plurality of nodes selected in the feedback relay node selection data. The at least one feedback data block is routed from the node to the at least one of the set of source nodes via the prioritized feedback communication mechanism.
