A battery pack, a safety control method therefor, and an electric apparatus are provided. The battery pack includes: a box assembly; a plurality of battery cells disposed in the box assembly, the battery cell having a housing; and a safety protection mechanism disposed in the box assembly and having a first state and a second state. When the safety protection mechanism is in the first state, the plurality of battery cells are insulated from the box assembly. The safety protection mechanism is in the second state when a preset trigger condition is met, and when the safety protection mechanism is in the second state, the housings of at least some of the battery cells are electrically connected to the box assembly.
