provided in the present disclosure are a relay ue handover method and apparatus, and a communication device and a readable storage medium, which are applied to the terminal field of wireless communications. the relay ue handover method comprises: on the basis of a serving cell of a target relay ue, determining whether to hand over to the target relay ue. in the present disclosure, when a remote ue learns that same is required to hand over to a target relay ue, it is determined, on the basis of a serving cell of a remote target relay ue, whether to hand over to the target relay ue. that is to say, the serving cell of the target relay ue is taken as a reference parameter for handover. therefore, the failure of remote ue handover caused by changing of the serving cell of the relay ue can be avoided, thereby improving the stability of a wireless communication system.
