An embodiment relates to a handover-related operation method of a remote UE in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: performing a measurement on a plurality of candidate relay UEs by a remote UE; transmitting a measurement report to a first base station by the remote UE; establishing an RRC connection with one relay UE selected from among the plurality of candidate relay UEs, by the remote UE; and transmitting a signal to the relay UE by the remote UE, wherein the remote UE transmits ID information related to an RRC reconfiguration procedure between the relay UE and a second base station to the first base station.
