To effectively notify other vehicles around own vehicle that LCA is canceled, provided is a vehicle control device configured to execute a lane change assist control for automatically changing a lane from a lane traveling on a own vehicle to a target lane adjacent to the lane. The vehicle control device is configured to cancel the lane change assist control, when a predetermined cancellation condition is satisfied during execution of the lane change assist control, and execute a cancel notification process for notifying an another vehicle of the fact that the lane change assist control has been canceled.
