REPEATER-BASED BEAM CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240348322 titled 'REPEATER-BASED BEAM CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The abstract of the patent application describes a method for a first communication node in a communication system to transmit information about repeaters to a second communication node, receive a measurement result for the repeaters, determine a repeater, determine beam combination information, and perform wireless communication with the repeater and the second communication node.
- Transmitting information about repeaters to a second communication node
- Transmitting a signal group corresponding to the repeaters to the second communication node through the repeaters
- Receiving a measurement result for the repeaters from the second communication node
- Determining a repeater based on the measurement result
- Determining beam combination information for communication between nodes
- Performing wireless communication with the repeater and the second communication node
Potential Applications: - Wireless communication systems - Network optimization - Beamforming technologies
Problems Solved: - Efficient communication between nodes - Optimal use of repeaters - Enhanced network performance
Benefits: - Improved signal quality - Enhanced network coverage - Increased data transmission speeds
Commercial Applications: Title: "Advanced Wireless Communication System for Enhanced Network Performance" This technology can be used in telecommunications, IoT devices, and smart city infrastructure to improve connectivity and data transfer speeds.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve communication efficiency in a network? 2. What are the key advantages of using beam combination information in wireless communication systems?
Original Abstract Submitted
an operation method of a first communication node in a communication system may include the steps of: transmitting, to a second communication node, a first indication including information about one or more repeaters; transmitting a first signal group corresponding to the one or more repeaters to the second communication node through the one or more repeaters; receiving, from the second communication node, a first response including a measurement result for the first signal group; determining a first repeater from among the one or more repeaters on the basis of the first response; determining beam combination information for one or more beam combinations between the first communication node, the first repeater, and the second communication node; and performing wireless communication with the first repeater and the second communication node.
