ELECTRIFIED VEHICLE - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18425016 titled 'ELECTRIFIED VEHICLE
The abstract of this patent application describes a system where a charger is positioned above the machine-electric integrated unit in an electrified vehicle. An input/output port for electric power is located on the power source chamber side of a battery, which is vertically downward with respect to the driver's seat. The power control device includes a branching portion that connects the input-output port, the power control device, and the charger through electric wiring.
- Charger positioned above machine-electric integrated unit
- Input/output port for electric power on power source chamber side of battery
- Battery vertically downward with respect to driver's seat
- Power control device with branching portion for electric path connection
- First and second electric wiring connecting input-output port, power control device, and charger
Potential Applications: - Electric vehicles - Charging infrastructure - Battery management systems
Problems Solved: - Efficient charging of electrified vehicles - Optimal positioning of charger and battery for convenience
Benefits: - Streamlined charging process - Improved user experience - Enhanced battery performance
Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Charging System for Electrified Vehicles" This technology can be utilized in the automotive industry for electric vehicle charging stations, battery management systems, and electric vehicle manufacturing.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the positioning of the charger above the machine-electric integrated unit impact the efficiency of the charging process? 2. What are the advantages of having the input/output port for electric power located on the power source chamber side of the battery?
Original Abstract Submitted
In electrified vehicle, a charger is disposed above the machine-electric integrated unit, and an input/output port for electric power is provided on the power source chamber side of a battery disposed on the power source chamber side vertically downward with respect to the driver's seat. Further, the power control device is provided with a branching portion that branches an electric path from the battery, in which the power control device side of the first electric wiring connecting the input-output port and the power control device and the power control device side of the second electric wiring connecting the power control device and the charger are connected to each other.
