NETWORK-ASSISTED DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNAL BUNDLING FRAMEWORK - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18598158 titled 'NETWORK-ASSISTED DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNAL BUNDLING FRAMEWORK
The patent application describes a method and apparatus for adjusting time windows in a non-terrestrial network to ensure radio characteristics remain within predetermined limits.
- Transmit an indication of a base time window to user equipment
- Acquire time drift information of the non-terrestrial network
- Determine an adjustment value based on the time drift information
- Transmit the adjustment value to the user equipment to adjust the base time window
- Receive an indication of a base time window and an adjustment value based on time drift information by user equipment
- Determine an adjusted time window by adjusting the base time window based on the adjustment value
- Perform coverage enhancement procedures during the adjusted time window
Potential Applications: - Telecommunications networks - Satellite communication systems - IoT devices with time-sensitive operations
