TONER CONTAINER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240337967 titled 'TONER CONTAINER

The patent application describes a toner container with a bag, a discharge member, and a shutting member.

  • The discharge member has a receiving port aligned with the bag for toner intake and a discharge port for toner discharge.
  • The receiving port is larger than or equal to 25 mm in area and is located on the inner side of the opening.
  • The toner filling amount in the container is less than or equal to 0.547 g/cm³.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be used in printers, photocopiers, and other toner-based devices. - It can improve the efficiency of toner refilling processes in various industries.

Problems Solved: - Ensures precise toner intake and discharge. - Prevents overfilling of toner in the container.

Benefits: - Enhanced accuracy in toner refilling. - Reduced wastage of toner. - Improved overall performance of toner-based devices.

Commercial Applications: Title: "Innovative Toner Container Technology for Enhanced Efficiency in Printing Devices" This technology can be utilized by printer manufacturers to improve the functionality and reliability of their products, leading to increased customer satisfaction and potentially higher sales in the market.

Questions about Toner Container Technology: 1. How does the size of the receiving port impact the toner refilling process? The size of the receiving port affects the efficiency and accuracy of toner intake, ensuring precise filling without spillage. 2. What is the significance of the toner filling amount limitation in the container? Limiting the toner filling amount prevents overfilling, which can lead to operational issues and wastage of toner resources.

Original Abstract Submitted

a toner container includes: a bag having an opening; a discharge member having a receiving port aligned with the bag in a first direction and for receiving toner, and a discharge port for discharging the toner; and a shutting member shutting the discharge port. the receiving port is provided on an inner side with respect to the opening in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. the receiving port is open in the first direction and has an area greater than or equal to 25 mm. the discharge member has a fixing portion to which the opening is fixed, and a surface between the fixing portion and the receiving port. a filling amount [g] of the toner with respect to a total volume [cm] up to which the toner in the toner container is allowed to be contained is less than or equal to 0.547 [g/cm].
