example methods and devices for blood pressure measurements are disclosed herein. the example methods include determining whether to perform blood pressure measurement on a user, and determining a blood pressure measurement mode used to perform the blood pressure measurement based on a degree of impact on a sleep status of the user. in a first measurement mode, the user needs to be prompted to adjust a blood pressure measurement posture to meet a blood pressure measurement requirement. after the user confirms that the posture is adjusted, blood pressure measurement is performed on the user. in a second measurement mode, blood pressure measurement can be performed on the user without prompting the user to adjust a blood pressure measurement posture.
