METHOD AND PUBLISHER-SUBSCRIBER NETWORK - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240340354 titled 'METHOD AND PUBLISHER-SUBSCRIBER NETWORK

The abstract describes a method for reaching consensus on published data in a publisher-subscriber network with a blockchain.

  • The innovation involves a publisher-subscriber network with a broker circuitry and a blockchain for storing published data.
  • The method includes a consensus reaching process on the published data to be stored in the blockchain.

Potential Applications:

  • This technology can be applied in financial transactions, supply chain management, and data verification processes.
  • It can also be used in healthcare for securely sharing patient data among healthcare providers.

Problems Solved:

  • Ensures data integrity and security in a publisher-subscriber network.
  • Facilitates trust among network participants by providing a transparent and immutable record of published data.

Benefits:

  • Enhances data reliability and trustworthiness.
  • Streamlines data sharing processes and reduces the risk of data manipulation.

Commercial Applications:

  • "Blockchain-based Consensus Reaching Method for Publisher-Subscriber Networks" can be utilized by financial institutions, logistics companies, and healthcare providers to improve data management and security.

Prior Art:

  • Researchers can explore existing patents related to blockchain consensus mechanisms and data verification in publisher-subscriber networks to understand the novelty of this technology.

Frequently Updated Research:

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, and data security protocols relevant to publisher-subscriber networks.

Questions about Blockchain-based Consensus Reaching Method for Publisher-Subscriber Networks: 1. How does this technology ensure the authenticity of published data in the network? 2. What are the potential challenges in implementing this consensus reaching method in real-world applications?

Original Abstract Submitted

a method for reaching consensus on published data for a publisher-subscriber network, the publisher-subscriber network including a broker circuitry configured to provide a broker, a publisher device that is registered as a publisher for a data category at the broker, and a plurality of subscriber devices, wherein each of the plurality of subscriber devices is registered as a subscriber for the data category at the broker, wherein the publisher-subscriber network is configured to provide a blockchain, wherein the method includes: performing, by the publisher-subscriber network, a consensus reaching process on the published data for storing the published data in the blockchain.
