WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROLLING METHOD SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240337058 titled 'WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROLLING METHOD SAME

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a washing machine with a system that can clean the detergent supply part by identifying the type of liquid in it, controlling the water supply to the tub, and ensuring the proper level of water before supplying the detergent into the tub.

  • The washing machine includes a tub, detergent supply part, fluid channel, motor, water supply part, and a processor.
  • The processor can identify the type of liquid in the detergent supply part, control the water supply to the tub, detect the water level, and supply the detergent into the tub through the fluid channel.
  • This system ensures that the detergent supply part is cleaned effectively before each use, improving the washing machine's overall performance and longevity.

Potential Applications: This technology can be applied to various types of washing machines, both residential and commercial, to enhance their cleaning efficiency and maintenance processes.

Problems Solved: - Ensures proper cleaning of the detergent supply part - Improves overall performance of the washing machine - Enhances longevity of the washing machine

Benefits: - Efficient cleaning of the detergent supply part - Improved washing machine performance - Extended lifespan of the washing machine

Commercial Applications: Potential commercial applications include laundry facilities, hotels, hospitals, and other establishments that rely on washing machines for daily operations. This technology can help reduce maintenance costs and improve the efficiency of laundry processes.

Questions about Washing Machine Technology: 1. How does the processor identify the type of liquid in the detergent supply part? 2. What are the potential cost savings for commercial users implementing this technology?

Frequently Updated Research: Stay updated on advancements in washing machine technology, particularly in the area of automated cleaning systems for detergent supply parts.

Original Abstract Submitted

a washing machine may include a tub; a detergent supply part to accommodate a liquid; a fluid channel connecting the detergent supply part and the tub; a motor controllable to supply the liquid accommodated in the detergent supply part into the tub through the fluid channel; a water supply part controllable to supply water into the tub; and a processor configured to: based on receiving a command for cleaning the fluid channel, identify a type of the liquid accommodated in the detergent supply part, based on the identified type of the liquid being water, control the water supply part to supply water into the tub, detect a level of water in the tub, and based on the detected level being greater than or equal to a predetermined value, control the motor so that the liquid accommodated in the detergent supply part is supplied into the tub through the fluid channel.
