a gaming system may provide for interactable environment geometry (ieg) detection. the gaming system detect one or more ieg features in an area of a virtual environment of a game including an avatar of a player, determine, for an ieg feature of the one or more potentially ieg features, one or more unprocessed potential interactions that are valid for the ieg feature, the determining that an individual unprocessed potential interaction of the one or more unprocessed potential interactions is a valid interaction for the ieg feature being based on corresponding criteria of the individual unprocessed potential interactions, and determine, based at least in part on a position of the avatar in the virtual environment, whether the valid interaction for the ieg feature is available for the avatar.
