EPOXIDE-ACRYLATE HYBRID MOLECULES AND THEIR USE FOR CHEMICAL ANCHORING - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18578181 titled 'EPOXIDE-ACRYLATE HYBRID MOLECULES AND THEIR USE FOR CHEMICAL ANCHORING
Simplified Explanation: The patent application discusses the use of epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecules in a multi-component reactive resin composition for chemical anchoring and improving the stability of mortars.
- These hybrid molecules have a polyol backbone, at least one epoxy group, and at least one acrylate group.
- The method of chemical anchoring involves incorporating these molecules into the resin component of the reactive resin composition.
- Adding the hybrid molecules to the resin composition enhances the stability of mortars.
- The multi-component reactive resin composition includes these hybrid molecules for chemical anchoring applications.
Potential Applications: 1. Construction industry for anchoring structures. 2. Infrastructure projects for improving mortar stability. 3. Manufacturing of adhesives and sealants.
Problems Solved: 1. Enhancing the anchoring strength of structures. 2. Improving the durability of mortars. 3. Increasing the effectiveness of resin compositions.
Benefits: 1. Stronger and more durable structures. 2. Enhanced stability of mortars. 3. Improved performance of resin compositions.
Commercial Applications: The technology can be used in construction, infrastructure development, and manufacturing industries for various applications such as anchoring, mortar stabilization, and adhesive production.
Questions about Epoxide-Acrylate Hybrid Molecules: 1. How do epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecules improve the stability of mortars? 2. What are the potential applications of these hybrid molecules in the construction industry?
Original Abstract Submitted
Epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecules include a polyol backbone, at least one epoxy group, and at least one acrylate group. A method of chemical anchoring is developed using the epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecule in the resin component of a multi-component reactive resin composition. A method of improving the stability of mortars is developed by adding the epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecule to a multi-component reactive resin composition. Furthermore, a multi-component reactive resin composition includes these epoxide-acrylate hybrid molecules, and to the use of such a multi-component reactive resin composition for chemical anchoring.
