STEAM COOKING APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18269438 titled 'STEAM COOKING APPARATUS

The cooking apparatus described in the patent application includes a cooking chamber and a heating chamber adjacent to it, used for heating air laden with steam. A fan circulates the air and steam between the two chambers through a vent arrangement. An additional drainage outlet at the base of the heating chamber allows liquid, such as condensate, to flow from the heating chamber to the cooking chamber, facilitating the removal of residue formed during a cleaning process.

  • The cooking apparatus features a cooking chamber and a heating chamber for heating air with steam.
  • A fan circulates the air and steam between the chambers through a vent arrangement.
  • An additional drainage outlet at the base of the heating chamber allows liquid to flow to the cooking chamber.
  • The drainage outlet facilitates the removal of residue formed during cleaning processes.
  • The design enables easy cleaning and maintenance of the cooking apparatus.

Potential Applications: - Commercial kitchens - Restaurants - Food processing facilities

Questions about Cooking Apparatus: 1. How does the drainage outlet in the heating chamber improve the cleaning process? 2. What are the potential benefits of using this cooking apparatus in a commercial kitchen setting?

Original Abstract Submitted

A cooking apparatus has a cooking chamber and a heating chamber adjacent the cooking chamber used for heating air laden with steam. A fan is mounted in the heating chamber and it circulates the air and steam between the cooking chamber and the heating chamber, through a vent arrangement. An additional drainage outlet is provided at a base of the heating chamber and for example leads to the cooking chamber. This is used to allow liquid such as condensate to flow from the heating chamber for example to the cooking chamber, for example to enable easy removal of residue formed during a cleaning process.
