A display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area, a first silicon-based transistor located on the substrate, and including a first semiconductor layer including a silicon semiconductor and a first gate electrode insulated from the first semiconductor layer, a first oxide-based transistor located on the substrate, and including a second semiconductor layer including an oxide semiconductor and a second gate electrode insulated from the second semiconductor layer, and a first gate insulating layer located on the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer, wherein the first gate electrode and the second gate electrode are located on the first gate insulating layer and are located on substantially a same layer.
