METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SCHEDULING TRANSMISSION IN MULTI-SIM USER EQUIPMENT (UE) - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240323955 titled 'METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SCHEDULING TRANSMISSION IN MULTI-SIM USER EQUIPMENT (UE)

The abstract describes a method and system for scheduling signal transmission in a multi-SIM UE, involving active communication sessions, receiving DL signals, generating UL-TB using RLC SDU, and transmitting UL-TB to a network entity via PUSCH.

  • The method involves performing active communication sessions through a TChannel associated with a first set of RX channels.
  • DL signals are received in a second set of RX channels while the TChannel is not allocated for transmitting corresponding UL signals.
  • UL-TB is generated using RLC SDU in response to receiving DL signals, corresponding to pending UL grants.
  • The UL-TB is then transmitted to a network entity via PUSCH.

Potential Applications: - This technology can be applied in multi-SIM UEs to efficiently schedule signal transmission. - It can enhance the performance of communication sessions in multi-SIM devices.

Problems Solved: - Efficient scheduling of signal transmission in multi-SIM UEs. - Optimizing the use of RX and TX channels for improved communication.

Benefits: - Improved signal transmission efficiency. - Enhanced performance in multi-SIM UEs. - Better utilization of resources for communication sessions.

Commercial Applications: Title: "Efficient Signal Transmission Scheduling in Multi-SIM UEs" This technology can be utilized in smartphones, tablets, and other multi-SIM devices to enhance communication performance. It can also be beneficial for network providers looking to optimize signal transmission in multi-SIM environments.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does this method improve signal transmission efficiency in multi-SIM UEs? 2. What are the potential implications of using this technology in various communication devices?

Original Abstract Submitted

provided is a method and system of scheduling transmission of signals in a multi-sim ue. the method includes performing an active communication session through a tchannel of the multi-sim ue, the tchannel being associated with a corresponding first set of rx channels, the first set of rx channels including at least one among a plurality of rx channels of the multi-sim ue, receiving one or more dl signals in a second set of rx channels among the plurality of rx channels while the tchannel is not allocated to transmit one or more uplink (ul) signals corresponding to the one or more dl signals, generating a ul-tb using a rlc sdu in response to the receiving, the rlc sdu corresponding to one or more pending ul grants of the one or more ul signals, and transmitting the ul-tb to a network entity via a pusch.
