REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18668576 titled 'REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROLLING METHOD FOR SAME
The abstract describes a patent application for a refrigerator with an ice making device that includes an ice tray and an ice separator. The refrigerator also has a temperature sensor, a cooling device, a water supply device, and a controller to regulate the ice making process.
- The refrigerator includes a main body with at least one storage compartment.
- A temperature sensor is placed in the main body to monitor temperature.
- An ice making device with an ice tray is located in the storage compartment to form ice.
- An ice separator is used to separate the ice formed from the ice tray.
- A cooling device cools the storage compartment.
- A water supply device provides water to the ice tray for ice formation.
- The controller, based on temperature readings, controls the water supply to the ice tray and performs an inspection cycle for the ice separator.
Potential Applications: - Household refrigerators - Commercial refrigeration units - Industrial cooling systems
Problems Solved: - Efficient ice making process - Temperature regulation in the refrigerator - Preventing ice buildup in the ice tray
Benefits: - Consistent ice production - Energy efficiency - Improved storage compartment cooling
Commercial Applications: Title: "Advanced Refrigerator with Ice Making Technology" This technology can be used in various commercial refrigeration units, catering businesses, and ice production facilities. The efficient ice making process and temperature control features make it ideal for commercial use.
Questions about the technology: 1. How does the ice separator work in separating the ice from the ice tray? 2. What are the advantages of having a temperature sensor in the refrigerator for ice making?
Original Abstract Submitted
A refrigerator including: a main body including at least one storage compartment; a temperature sensor arrangeable in the main body; an ice making device including an ice tray arrangeable in the at least one storage compartment such that while the ice tray is arranged in the storage compartment, the ice tray allows ice to be formed therein, and an ice separator configured to separate the ice formed from the ice tray; a cooling device configured to cool the at least one storage compartment; a water supply device configured to supply water to the ice tray that forms the ice; and a controller configured to, based on a temperature value detected by the temperature sensor arranged in the main body being greater than a preset value, control the water supply device so that no water is supplied to the ice tray and control the ice making device to perform an inspection cycle to inspect the ice separator.
